Truly lovely two night stay here. Very spacious between other campers and lots of room for our skoolie. It was peaceful and wonderful. So glad we decided to stop.

I checked out a few other spots before deciding on this one- and I'm glad I did. There were maybe three RVs parked in this huge space but it is such a big space that I could barely see them. It was easy to find and I had many sites to choose from- even on a weekend after arriving late in the evening. Lots of dust and dirt but I slept... more
I checked out a few other spots before deciding on this one- and I'm glad I did.
There were maybe three RVs parked in this huge space but it is such a big space that I could barely see them. It was easy to find and I had many sites to choose from- even on a weekend after arriving late in the evening.
Lots of dust and dirt but I slept like a baby in my tent. I could hear the highway but it still felt secluded- the stars and milky way were stunning!
Highly recommend.

We stayed about a month at the Bend/Sisters RV resort---a very nice place, but pricey. We couldn't stay into the Memorial day weekend so we were looking for a boondocking spot nearby in the Bend/Sisters area. We do have a big rig, so it can be challenging finding space on a forest road that doesn't involve squeezing between trees. L... more
We stayed about a month at the Bend/Sisters RV resort---a very nice place, but pricey. We couldn't stay into the Memorial day weekend so we were looking for a boondocking spot nearby in the Bend/Sisters area. We do have a big rig, so it can be challenging finding space on a forest road that doesn't involve squeezing between trees. Lo and behold, right behind the RV resort is the Harrington road loop, which is BLM land. There is plenty of spots, fire rings, open spots for our solar panels to soak up the beautiful Oregon sunshine and close enough to Bend and Sisters for shopping and movies

This area was amazing. Super close to a dump site in sisters and laundry facility. Clean area. Nice trails. This area can accommodate any size rig or setup.
Con- someone stole my remote control airplane. He must have needed more than I.... he must have had a small wiener.
