NFS CG that is $15 per night for FF sites with picnic tables and fire rings; some sites right on the river and there is a nature path that runs behind those sites along the river so anyone can enjoy access; sites are old pavement but fairly level and varying lengths, some large enough to accommodate a truck and medium trailer; camp host, Rick, was very helpful in helping us to find a site that would suit us. Pit toilets were clean. No dump or tankfill. One unthreaded fresh water spout near camphost. No ATT or Verizon. There were some mosquitoes in the evening but kept at bay with our campfire.
This was a beautiful spot on the way to the Oregon Caves-we liked it so much we stayed an extra day just to hang out in our sunny riverside site. We also drove through the Cave Creek CG closer to the caves but liked the vibe and layout of Grayback much better. We arrived on Monday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend and had our choice of spots, very few campers here over night. Nice lollipop loop trail from the group camp across the street. Access to swimming hole in the river from the campground.
Cave tour tip: stop at the VC at Cave Junction to see if they have any same day tickets even if it says they are sold out on line
Maureen would stay here again

This is the farthest you can go on the road to the Oregon Caves with an rv/trailer. Very pretty, spots right by the creek, and a nice path along the creek to stroll on. Some spots more private than others. Only 7 miles from the Caves (still about 20min drive). The spots aren’t very big and the pull thru sites aren’t for big rigs at all, anything bigger than 20ft is gonna be a tight fit if towing. Camp hosts were very nice. Warned us about transients, but they were on top of keeping them out. Felt safe to leave our tow while we headed up to the Caves for a tour (especially fun if Ranger Neil is your tour guide). Lots of mosquitoes of course being right by the water, but still very enjoyable night. No cell coverage at all.
