I was looking for a campground somewhere between my travel up from Florida to Ohio. I had no idea what to expect from this campground. I have been to over 100 campgrounds and I have to say, this is in the top three. I assume there are not more reviews about this park because everybody wants to keep it to themselves. The scenery…oh my g... more
I was looking for a campground somewhere between my travel up from Florida to Ohio. I had no idea what to expect from this campground. I have been to over 100 campgrounds and I have to say, this is in the top three. I assume there are not more reviews about this park because everybody wants to keep it to themselves. The scenery…oh my gosh…look at some of the videos on this place. Wow!! Almost Heaven, West Virginia was surely written from site 33!! The park is gated with 24 hr security, the sites were very large and spaced widely apart. The campground sits on top of a mountain and the view is absolutely spectacular. The drive up is easy even for big rigs. But what really sets this park apart from others is just outside the RV campground they have a restaurant, ice cream shop and camp store,zip line, three disc golf courses, mini golf and a huge heated swimming pool…all available to campers who stay three days or more. If you are looking for a cabin stay, look no further. They have some of the most luxurious cabins I have ever seen with views from on top of the mountain that can’t be beat…with hot tubs. The park could not have been any nicer. I would absolutely go out of my way to stay here again.Open year round with full hookups.

The drive up is easy even for big rigs.
