"Nice Place On The Ohio River!"

I checked out every private campground in the WV Panhandle and Edgewater is by far the nicest one I found. My campsite was right on the Ohio River. There is a train track along the river but I rarely saw a train. Nice place, and the owners are wonderful!

"Site too small "

Roads are very narrow with some rocks and trees making turns difficult. Assigned a site that didn't fit our rig. Office insists that site will fit a 42' rig (our rig is a 43' 5th wheel) and where are we supposed to park our truck? We arrived the day after a tornado had caused damage and took out power to most of the area. We had no idea because we were dealing with truck problems. Very nice park, easy off the highway. There will be highway noise. Very clean facilities. You can tell they are doing updates throughout the park and they take good care of it. Friendly and caring staff.
