We booked for two nights, a Wednesday and Thursday. A little expensive but we thought it was alright for having river access. Other than being extremely hot (98 in June), Wednesday was not too bad because the campground was probably only 15% occupied. But come Thursday afternoon, every site was full, which wouldn't have been an issue except for the fact that the sites are literally right next to each other with no divider other than a chalk line. I had a huge party roll up to the two sites next to me with three large 5th wheels and a ton of people (It was just me and my son in a teardrop trailer). We ended up leaving on Thursday early due to the loud music from all over the campground, extreme heat, and other little things that just all added up (no fire rings so had to make our own and no dish washing station).
The hosts were friendly and the river was nice but for the price and the tightness of the way the campsites are divided up, as well as the packed booking, we were happy to eat up the cost of one night.

There are toilets and showers available. They have wagons they rent as cabins which are so cute! WiFi available but weak signal. A majority of the sites are dry camp and on the Kern River while the electric sites are in the middle of the park. They have snacks for sale in the front office and Beverly will gladly provide information about the local area for shopping. Dump station on site. This town has so many cool stores and shops but if relaxing next to the water is your desire, this is the place for you!

Purity nice place to stay only reason for the 3 star rating is for 2 reasons,
1. There is no RV sites that are next to the river and from my spot I could not even see the river.
2. Every other RV spot they have the water and electricity on the wrong side of the RV so you have to park kinda close to the hook ups.
Wifi suckes in the park but if you go up to the office it's much better, not that I care about wifi only putting this down for the people that need it.
