We enjoyed our time at Camp Robbins. It's a pretty and quiet little park on base (a very large base!). It's a nice walk or bike ride down to the water to watch the sunset. We only stayed here to visit family nearby.

I paid the extra for camping "by the lake" that's a farce, you can SEE the lake but to get to it it's down a rocky, dangerous embankment. And, that red clay looks real bad if it rains, you can see old ruts. Also the LAKE-side is only a very few spots, and I had a heck of a time getting an 18ft tt in there, anything bigger, forget it.
