“Not really a campground, just a few picnic tables and a boat launch”

If you are looking for a place to spend the night with any facilities this isn't the place. There is a vault toilet and a picnic table or two scattered around. This is really just a boat launch on the beach with a parking area for boat trailers. The road in is rough but doable for a pickup or SUV but I wouldn't take a class A or large trailer down there as the road is steep, twisting and narrow in spots. The good news is there are lots of boondocking areas once you hit public land on the way to Devil's Creek and there is no need to go that far with a camper.
