Beautiful lake and forest. Campground is nice. Clean bathrooms. Electric and water hookups. Dump station at park. Lots to do on the lake with marinas near by.

Only had the chance to stay one night back in March 2021 for spring break. Clean, quiet campsite and great views. Would stay again and hope to return soon.

Made a last minute decision to check out this campground. Super glad that I did! Got a terrific site that backs to the water with fantastic views! Only negative that I can think of is there is some kind of generator or pump running much of the time and I believe it may be for the water system for the bathrooms. No clue. Doesn’t bother ... more
Made a last minute decision to check out this campground. Super glad that I did! Got a terrific site that backs to the water with fantastic views! Only negative that I can think of is there is some kind of generator or pump running much of the time and I believe it may be for the water system for the bathrooms. No clue. Doesn’t bother me but if I was in section B it would be worse. Other than that it’s super peaceful.

We like dry camping, forest service etc. Tried to get into Gulpha Gorge because of proximity to Hot Springs. No dice, we learned from locals that its nearly impossible to get into. Started shotgunning, and came up with Denby. Only 2 open sites that would get is thru to Sunday. We wondered what the hell was wrong with site #29 if i... more

Started shotgunning, and came up with Denby. Only 2 open sites that would get is thru to Sunday. We wondered what the hell was wrong with site #29 if it was still unoccupied. Turns out its the nicest site in the park. Right by the lake, 1/4 acre of grass sloping down to the water. Sand beach 75 yards away. Beautifull and quiet. A lot of people have motorboats here, but not loud at all. Any spot in this loop is great, but #29 is the one you want. Att service was ok, hot spot worked in daylight, not so much at night. O and $11 for golden age, water and electric.

Overall Rating
COE on Lake Ouachita, AR near Mt Ida and crystal mines and 1 hour from Crater of Diamonds State Park. Huge sites, paved long pads, water and electric on sites and dump in park. Beautiful views and quiet. Is $11/ night with America the beautiful pass.
