We arrived last night for a 3 day stay. Found the only spot conducive to star link as we have to work. Check in we arrived about 5pm went through park gate paid our $10 to enter the park and was sent to the campground gate. Was met with a grumpy woman annoyed we interrupted her closing and sent us back to the first gate. No problem chose our site and then drove back the 2 miles to the first gate to settle up. Settled into our site and immediately noticed a young man park dnr employee drives his mini van around the grounds up and down, back forth, about every 30 min. A little invasive as we sat by our fire feeling like I was being supervised as he waved each time he passsed by. But the straw is that broke the camels back. At 8 am they brought out the lawn mower. Spent 30 min just across from us we couldn’t enjoy our coffee of speak to each other. The guy is mowing the entire campground so I expect to see him again soon. Meanwhile, at not yet 9am the giant trash truck came through and banged the Bajesus out of the dumpsters. Each and every last one. We are not amused. Otherwise the campground is nice. The restrooms are not particularly well kept (surprisingly considering the attention they pay to other items). The showers are those kind you can not control the temp and have to keep pushing the button. You can’t see the lake from most of the sites it’s more like a really maintained campground. One that is excessively loud at 8 am.

There are many stores a few miles away if you need something. Roads to the camp off of I-65 are narrow in places, curvy, and slight rise in some places in the road. We did brush up against trees on the main roads getting to the camp.
The camp has vault/ pit toilets and "comfort stations (flush toilets)" however these can be a bit of a walk.
The lake is beautiful and many sites in the F section have a slightly obstructed view of the lake.
I would not recommend site F25. Your pad will be about 1 foot from a gravel drive that those staying in the four small cabins use and while we were there, the cars were in / out all the time.

There were many uneven very steep sites so make sure you choose wisely. We stayed at F 22 which was very nice and will book again. Was very big and had a small walking path down to the lake so we could fish. The playground by the beach it was very nice and seem to be very busy. We had lots to do and will be exploring again when we can hike. Huber’s is very close which was fun to get to enjoy with the kids.Bath houses were fine in a little bit outdated.

E31 was a huge site lots of space backing to cabins. < 100 ft to the shared water hookup. Shade but afternoon sun is intense before it slips behind the trees (West is to the front of the site). Bath house could be cleaner. Some noisy neighbors this weekend

This is not a big rig friendly park. Only a handful of pull through sites. Sites closer to the lake were paved. Some sites were perfectly level and others would be unusable even with lots of blocks. Some sites could comfortably hold a 35’ Class A while others could barely fit a 20’ Class B. I’d stay here again, particularly if it was off season when it’s walkup only any you have your choice of sites. I’d be nervous going in blind with a decent sized rig.
