“Some Concerns for a larger rig”

This is OK for a small size RV/camper, and good open space for solar power. But we have a 6ton 27ft 5th wheel, intending to stop here, but had 2 concerns (1) There is a short but steep gravel dirt track leading off the main road down to the open grassy area in question: I was worried about loosing traction on it when climbing up out of it, especially as you’d have to ‘gun it’ to get up without stopping and drive straight onto the busy fast main road, bumping up/over a 4” roadside kerb in the process. (2) The 2nd, better of 2 camping areas had some streaks of sand that I’d worry getting stuck in (after a past experience!). We went on to use the better Knife Edge CG 2mls further east.

“More no service camping, but perfect for a guy like me ”

Easily accessible from scenic Route 12 and more great cutthroat trout fishing on the Lochsa River. Nearby trailheads can keep you busy when not fishing or swimming. A decent size rig can get down the slight downramp to the campsites. Aside from no cell service, this place is perfect, enjoy!
