Decent little campground in a great town. the main loop is decently big rig friendly maybe one turn that might cause you to double check your mirrors. The teens loop down toward sites 15-18 is a good bit less so, couple lower limbs that I suspect would get pretty close on a bigger rig and the turn at the end of the loop if there is nobody out in the road out of the front of their site you won't have any issue but I did have to drop the inside tires of my trailer off the asphalt just barely because of a toad parked in a site awkwardly, no biggie just might be relevant to someone with a 40+ footer. Make sure you check site descriptions carefully to make sure the site can accommodate your rig, Most are friendly, some are not. Ocean springs is a great town and this is a very decent option to stay if you're wanting to head to the Mississippi gulf coast. Great cell service, clean bath facilities, great shower pressure in the bath house, think pressure washer. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because of noise and congestion that I didn't enjoy. Simply a reflection of my personal opinion.

A National Seashore campground with electric and water hookups and showers! An easy bike ride out of the park and along the coast will lead to town about 2 miles away. There is no beach access at the park but is nearby in town. The town has everything you need or Biloxi is a short drive away. The campground is quiet and only 50 or so sites. Sites range from shady to full sun and recreation.gov has photos of each site. There is a nice walk from the campground to the visitor center which passes the bayou where we spotted a few baby alligators and a ton of snapping turtles.

The scenery is very pretty from the moment you enter Davis Bayou Park. A reminder of what Old Coastal South used to look like before ugly houses and commercial establishments took over the coastal landscape. This campground is small but really nice. Only one restroom structure with four separate lockable showers, but the facility seemed to somehow accommodate all the campers. The sites are clean and well maintained. Plenty of shade or sun. Friendliness abides in Davis Bayou. Reservations are made online and check-in is a breeze as you simply go to your campsite and set up camp. I stopped a lone ranger on the way in and asked the protocol and that is what he said. Absolutely no paperwork. Three nights totaled $33 which reflected my geezer discount by my holding a lifetime senior pass.
This is fortunately a bicycle-friendly park. Plenty of trails to ride on as well as a navigable ride into the charming old town of Ocean Springs. With a little homework one can figure out a somewhat serpentine ride from the campground which is much safer than using the main Park Road and then connecting to Government Road. There are blacktop trails off the campground that connect to subdivision streets leading into the older part of town, which is charming with small homes and plenty of shade.
Another added benefit was the reliable two bars of consistent cell service provided by AT&T. This again enabled use of our Nighthawk hotspot so streaming news, or Amazon prime and DirectTVNow, were available if desired.

We entered the campground on a Sunday and checked in with the Camp Host. We experienced some low limbs coming in and close corners (not difficult or impossible to turn) once into the campground. Site 19, our site, was 51' in length, but was narrow. It was paved but the ground around the pavement had washed away so you have a steep drop off from the paved parking area. We were very careful when stepping out of the RV.
The campground was quiet and the people were very friendly. Having two dogs, we would have appreciated better lighting in the campground. Otherwise, though, the campground was affordable and enjoyable!

Sites vary in length from short to long enough to accommodate our 40’ motorhome. Water and 20/30/50 Amp service at all sites. Blacktop pads range from very level to slightly sloping. Flush toilets and showers in air conditioned building.

There are lots of other reviews here and we found each one to be accurate.
My two cents for this park is to make sure to visit Buzzy's Breakfast Joint in the downtown area of Ocean Springs, just one block off the main road through downtown.
We visited this campground from 02/27/19 until 03/07/19.

Lots to do in the area. The rangers were friendly and helpful in finding activities for our special needs child. Make sure you check the length of the driveway because there are some we couldn’t fit in. Don’t be late checking in because there isn’t anyone around for a late check in.

This is a good campground if you want to visit Ocean Springs, Biloxi and Gulf Islands National Seashore, particularly the boat excursion to Ship Island. If you don't do any of those things, then it's just a basic campground. It's fairly small. Some spots are pretty close together. Ours (#23) was almost too short for our 25 foot trailer, but we made it work. We were right by the dump station, and we could smell it occasionally. Internet was slow in the evening, most likely due to overwhelmed cell tower. Showers were good, individual rooms with locking doors, and hooks for your stuff. It's a good value overall, $22 for water and electric.
