He even offered for us to stay an extra night at no charge so we could make sure the truck was fixed. Our engine light came on again. The owner offered to take my husband to town for parts and help in any way possible. I will say it was always chilly and breezy here even when it was warm and sunny in Moab so be prepared with proper clothes. The campground itself is a 8/10. The owners make it a 10/10. If there was a hot tub to enjoy those cool nights and stars in it would be a 11/10 😉

Let's start with the awesome sauce. The owners, Hal and Anna I believe are their names, are the absolute best camp hosts/owners we have encountered. We have been traveling fulltime for over a year now and there really aren't enough good things to say about them. Super kind, hospitable, helpful and caring. We had some vehicle trouble and they allowed me to work on it in the campground, provided cardboard, waste buckets, even offered to go into town for me to grab tools or groceries. One night Hal even called me to check on us to make sure we didnt need a ride home. Absolutely amazing.
The campground itself is super clean and tidy. Nice view of the LA Sal mountains. They seem to be doing some work to the campground as well maybe adding an office or shower house I'm not sure. Reasonable distance to Moab at over half the cost of what's in Moab.
Really the only downside if there was one is that the sites themselves are a bit tight. But that is a very small gripe with our overall experience here 10/10 would stay again.

We arrived July 25th planned on staying for just a few nights, we ended up staying for 3 weeks. Hal & Ana are the driving force why we stayed longer. They have an open door policy, are earm, friendly, inviting, full of so much information and facts on local and surrounding areas! We enjoyed fresh organic veggies thankyou to the generosity of our RV park hosts. The wifi is fast, strong and reliable. Views are amazing, star gazing is superb! Location is literally perfect spot for day trips in all directions, Moab is just 26 miles away, LA Sal is minutes away, Monticello about an hours drive, so many trails and roads to discover, whether you are hiking, biking, car, motorbike or horse which there happen to be plenty of, who can pass up mountain views in multiple directions? Temps are much cooler in LA Sal area compared to hot busy touristy Moab....National Parks just a short trip from camp. Will be coming back year after year. Thankyou Hal & Ana for a very memorable experience. You 2 have set the bar for a welcoming, efficiently run park, can't wait to see it when you are finished with the shower house. We mat have to reserve a year in advance once word gets out how great this place is! Til next year guys.....💛💜💚💙

I was happy to find this RV campground right in between both National Parks and near some excellent 4x4 trails. The price was great compared to others farther north near Moab. The owners (hi, Hal!) came over to welcome me to the park and were incredibly friendly! I would absolutely come back here if I ever find myself in the area again.

We were gifted a huge box of squash from the owners, such kind people!
Would highly recommend!

This park is an excellent place to stay to visit arches and canyon land national parks. The spots are pull thru and level. It’s very quiet and the sky is amazing at night. Owner couldn’t be any nicer or more accommodating

We weren’t sure where to check in, so we called and then owner came right over to our site. The next day, he dropped off fruits and veggies from his home garden. Literally, the nicest people. The site is also in a quiet location. My only complaint is that there isn’t any WiFi and the cell service isn’t great.

Our experience with dealing with this campground was positive from our first contact with the owner, Hal, on our arrival day through the day we departed. We called the day before our arrival to inform the owner that we had a problem with our travel trailer and weren’t sure we would make it there on our reserved day. Hal asked us if we needed any assistance and also assured us there would be a spot available whenever we did arrive. He came over and greeted us as soon as we pulled into our campsite and even offered to help us set up, if needed. He and his wife, Ana, provided us with freshly picked sweet corn and other vegetables from their garden. He and Ana were the most gracious hosts we have ever had at a campground and made our stay there very enjoyable. The campground was just established this year and is very basic with level gravel lots, water, sewer and electric. No Wifi but Hal said he has plans to get it soon as well as build a bathroom/bath facility and add some other amenities. We stayed for 3 nights and would definitely stay again if we are ever in this area again.
