Some long time residents
Supposedly never too busy
About 10 rigs when I was there
Sites are long grassy pull thru
Minutes from town on a narrow twisty road
I did not use restrooms
I stayed at the second last pull off
Steep entrance to site, perhaps 15 degrees or more
Lots of wildlife especially early morning
Purchase reservation on line or at general store at Stoneyford - you can’t miss the store!
Water and electric for $37 Tue May 21 2019
Site 22 has a small tilt so need to pull out levelers
22 is a drive thru. Some back and forth required to find the level section. Some occasional noise from highway just across the tranquil waterway. The site map and road signs could be better.
Three or four tables
Spaces between trees could probably be used
I did not stay as it was about to rain and I was concerned about getting out
It was empty on a Sunday afternoon
The corner has 8” deep angled ruts
It’s Jeep territory!
Nearby Paradise is more popular
I am 24 feet and fitted into site 10
A couple of others would have been ok too
Only 3 sites occupied on a Tue Apr 23 2019
Friday afternoon at about 3pm it was 75% full. It is primarily a place for tent camping. There are 3 or 4 spots suitable for a 24 ft van that are somewhat flat. Very quiet.
Only first twelve sites are open. The remainder, the majority are closed. When I arrived at 3pm on a Sunday half of the twelve sites were open, an hour later it was 3/4 full. Site 11 is almost perfectly flat; others not so flat.
