This very small park, 7 sites, is located just outside of Athol, just north of Coeur d’Alene. Sites 3-7 are all full-hookup. Sites 1 & 2 are electric with a shared water hookup. The roads into the park & getting around inside are narrow. We are a 45’ DP so it was tight but very doable if you are confident in your abilities. There are no amenities here, just a feel of peace & quiet like boondocking. We were met by a hostess upon arrival who provided fresh cookies!
Our biggest issue was connectivity. All the sites, except maybe 1 & 2, are surrounded by tall trees which caused numerous StarLink issues. Cell service, Verizon & AT&T, is only 1-2 bars with minimal data. Roof mounted satellites will also have issues. The park lists wifi but it does not reach the RV sites.
Price is also too high for a park with no amenities.

If you have the budget, it is great alternative to Blackwell Island or the few other 65+/nt parks. I stayed in the largest site, it does have a bend in the middle. So, be aware if you intend to have a 45'+ rig.

We arrived late and were greeted with the kindest and most understanding host. The stay was extremely peaceful and we can’t wait to go back.

We needed a place to stay fairly close to Coeur d'Alene but didn't want to stay in one of the commercial RV parks. This really hit the mark. What a truly refreshing experience. We were greeted with fresh baked cookies and the next morning we had a fresh scone delivered for breakfast. I think this may have been because we there in the shoulder season and they will be selling them during peak season. They would be worth it. But this the attention to those type of things made it feel like you were home. Not to mention the morning walks to greet all the animals. Of course there were the very friendly barn cats that gave us a tour of the place.
The campsites were well laid out with good hookups and nicely spaced. We had good cell coverage, but that wasn't the important to us. This is on the higher end cost wise of what we like to pay, but I felt with all things considered, money well spent. Plus we were supporting a local farm family.
The location is wonderful. About half way between Coeur d'Alene and Sand Point and about three miles from the Silverwood Theme Park.
I'm usually ready to move on from a location in a couple of days. I can honestly say this is one of the few spots I was sad to leave and wanted to stay much longer.

We were in the area to visit family and hardly at the farm. Wish we had taken time to explore it more. All the sites seemed easy to get in and out of. Site 4 and 7 would have a better view of the open fields. There was not really a check in process we just drove to our site. This would be a great spot to use to visit SilverWood park. ... more

The camp host did check on us and brought around a morning and evening treat for everyone.
