Follow this road turn left onto FS 2204 and follow it road until you reach the campground. These roads are paved until the last 5ish miles to the campground turns into a nice gravel road. Do not listen to any other directions from your phone. You will end up driving for miles on awful pothole covered dirt roads at 10mph for what feels like forever.
The campground is nice with fire rings, picnic tables and clean bathrooms. Lots of berries (and bear poop!) along the other FS roads if you want to go picking.

My son and I stayed here the first night of a camping loop around the Olympic Peninsula. After a pleasant ride up the long gravel road we were pleased to find such a quiet and well-kept campground considering the location. Only bummer was that someone forgot to unlock the toilet when exiting and it locked behind them making it unusable. Lots of hiking from the campground for those inclined. Will definitely be back for a longer stay!

Nice free campground. Enjoyed walking and driving forest service roads to explore. No cell service. Bring entertainment . Great campsite for tent camping, car, truck or vans. My truck & pop up trailer is about as large as I would feel comfortable.

There was also a trail nearby. I took the westernly route toward a shelter that was supposedly 3 1/2 miles down the trail. I got about 1 1/2 miles, to a river crossing and found the trail on the other side, but it became thickly overgrown quickly, so I decided to turn back. Maybe I’m a weeny and it got better soon thereafter, but it was fun anyway.

After a long drive in this campsite feels like heaven. You are camping among some of the most beautiful and pristine old-growth forest I've seen. Definitely the place to go if you want to experience old-grown forests without feeling rushed or like you're surrounded by people trying to do the same thing. Campsites are private with plenty of trees between you and your closest neighbor, small footpaths connect them to each other and to the large creek that runs alongside the length of the campsite. Fire pits at each campsite but you have to wander a bit into the woods to find any worthwhile firewood. Porta potty was super smelly but better than none! Can't wait to return here on my next trip to the Northwest!
