This was a lovely peaceful wooded campground set on a low bluff along the lake. Made for tents, vans, very small RVs, the parking pads are small. Many sites had steps down to the picnic table and firepit so they were more secluded from the road and felt like you were just alone with the lake. Flush toilets and potable water. Only a few other people were there on April weekday.

An absolute gem of a campground, if you are using tents or a small RV. The campground sits on a bluff overlooking Lake Quinault. Nestled among old-growth Douglas Fir, with leavenings of Western Hemlock and Red Cedar. Nearby you will find one of the world's largest Sitka Spruce trees. Trails offer day hikes in the rain forest. One bar Verizon coverage, voice calls were iffy, data non-existent, but text messaging was viable. If you need better coverage, 4G is decent in Amanda Park, about 1.5 miles away. This was a pre-RV tent camping trip for us, ignore the part that said we stayed here in a 29ft trailer....it will never fit in!
