I’d never stay at Meltons! Super sketchy! Just down the street there’s a city campground which was full with what looked like longer term campers but just to the north side of that campground also right next to the lake is a place that rents cabins and they have a few tv sites with full hook ups - very nice and perfectly level. The owner, Mike, lives right there and is very nice and helpful. Good Verizon reception and decent water pressure. Tel: (770) 355-1741 - it’s called the Cabins at Rocky Pond and for some reason it’s not listed on Campendium. Compared to the city park it’s more private and just as close to the lake and large dog park. $30 per night!
