“Great, secluded location in Ottawa National Forest”

Great spot, perfect for paddlers and fisherman/women. This is on the middle branch of the Ontanagon River and there is a small waterfall in the campground. There is no electric or water, unless you filter from the river. All trash needs to be packed out as well. Our site was clean and close enough to hear the waterfall. There were a few others there as well - one in a smaller class C and the other about a 20' travel trailer.

“Tiny, bug-laden loop along a speedway of a river”

Sufficient little campground next to a raging river. Four out of six of the spots were wide open and decorated in fruit loops and Bud Light trash, a milk bottle and some insulation that boasted about its capacity to deplete the ozone on the packaging. Found that gem in the fire pit.

The only draw to this place is that it appears to be free.

So many minuscule flying white bugs, maybe 100 per square foot, that we had to leave. So glad we did because Marion Lake, about 15 minutes down the road, was an absolute dream!
