This spot is to close to the freeway, to many sketch people pulling off to take a leak and driving around the camps like they're looking for stuff.
It also seemed like a bike and utv staging area and we kept having them rip past our rv. We prefer the free camping off us 7 better. SE of Bloomington.

Just past the gravel lot there is a very nice, compacted dirt road that leads all the way back to some kind of quarry. There is a pretty regular stream of hail trucks that use that dirt road, but they were not a disruption.
I drove about halfway back toward the quarry and found a little off shoot road that my van could handle. Got to a nice level spot and posted up for the sunset.
Would 100% stay here again.

But worse of all is that at 5am large trucks started making their way thru the site to go to a mine up the gravel road to the left. There was a constant procession of these double long trailers hauling. Would definitely stay there again, but not park near the mining truck track which is past the signage on the left.

Moving to another state and this was a great pit stop along the way. Lots of space, the further you go in the more secluded you are. Truckers will stop at the entrance and the further you get in you’ll see mostly campers. I tent camped and was good.

There is a large gravel parking area just south of the Interstate. A mix of semis and RVers use it. People who like to dump their trash on the public land also use it. It's a very easy on-off and convenient for an overnight stop. I would not stay longer in the lot. You don't really want to get out of your RV in the lot, there is trash all over. There are areas farther along the road and we could see RVs out there. While the area right at the lot is AZ State Trust Land, I think farther out it becomes BLM land. You are still close to the interstate and will get the noise. There is the benefit of being close to St. George, but I did not see anything else memorable about it. Signs on the road warned of 24-hour heavy truck traffic, though I did not notice any on a Friday night.

We stopped here on our way to Colorado from California. Great stopping spot. If you continue passed the large parking lot on the right, you can go down into the path and find some spots a little further away from the highway.
