The park was easy to find. It is located a short distance off of highway 22A . There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. There is a chalk board listing available sites. You set up in your chosen site and the camp host comes to you for check in. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are gravel and in good condition..
Our site, 08, was a back in that was easily long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services did not exist. Distancing is very good for a rural park. All sites had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was nicely treed and pleasant to look at. .
There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult because of the tree canopy. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. We had a good signal for our wifi hot spot.
There is a small sandy beach by the river as well as trails leading out into the forest.
There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $25.00 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.
The Rollin Ollens would stay here again
