I have a RV Van and have stayed in hundreds of free Casino sites. This Casino would not allow me to stay here because I did not have a gray water drain. I talked with security and was told that's the way it is.

Stopped here on the way south for four nights. Hit the Koa across the street to fill up free fresh water before arriving. I estimate forty or so rvs there when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon, some seemed to have been there for a while. Trash cans everywhere that seemed to get dumped multiple times per day. The lot was extremely well lit and rather level. No markings so the parking was a bit all over the place but no problems finding a spot. They ask you to sign up for their players card, id, and proof of insurance to acquire a “three day pass,”for access to the free dry parking. This also requires you have to go to the security desk to get the pass which wasn’t the smoothest of processes. I also only saw a few windows that appeared to have the pass in their window, and a few neighbors said they don’t dont hassle you if you don’t have one. They do sell fireworks on property and have a designated fireworks area near the dry camping lot, and allow people to shoot them off until 10:00pm, which our dogs didn’t like. They have a nice beach area on the Colorado river that looked beautiful, although it was too cold to swim. All and all a good free spot about twenty minute drive from downtown Laughlin.

Good spot for an overnight layover. Lots of RVs and some a little run down, but the place was quiet through the night. Casino, food court, etc were underwhelming. The small beach was good.

We arrived for a quick night's sleep before continuing up the Colorado. The lot is large, dirt, and has decent lighting. It backs up to an emergency services building (fire/police) and one of the casino's paved parking lots. Across the street is the resort-run Avi KOA campground (dump station $10).
There were dozens of rigs parked when we arrived, many had obviously been there for some time (though everything was kept clean and uncluttered). Someone lit off fireworks until about 10:00PM which I was surprised security didn't shut down.
As we left in the morning I noticed that some rigs had permits in their windows. We did not acquire one, nor did anyone come asking for it. Perhaps those are for longer stays, but I can't say for sure. Decent AT&T and Verizon.

If you need full hookups, there is a KOA literally across the street. It was also a giant dirt lot but it had hookups.

Buffet was excellent (seafood on Friday night - Prime Rib and Shrimp on Saturday). The pool and hot tub may be used but they do charge a $10/per person fee according to the sign. It was to cool to use it anyway for us. The beach, casino and grounds are yours to discover.
There was fireworks a couple of nights - started early and ended before 10P. Campers in this area are friendly and many stay for long visits. The sign does say the management reserved the right to limit a visit. The KOA across the street lets you fill with Free Potable water and the dumping station is $5. They also have a coin op laundry which you can use.
We would definitely stay here again if in the area. Depending on how you approach the casino the dry camping area is to the left of the Main Entrance (there is a sign).
Thank you to the Avi for providing this area!

Stayed there for the first time loved it. Still was able to get access to the pool and everything the Avi pervades. Would rather stay at the Avi then the KOA that's a cross the street👎🏻. The free Avi campground is closer then the KOA.

The Avi has a really nice pool area with a big jacuzzi. It's got a nice waterfall you can soak your back in. It's really relaxing. The hotel will charge dry campers 10 bucks to get into the pool area during the summer. In the cooler weather months there is no one at the entry fee station and I could not figure a way to pay to get into the pool so I waited until someone came out and I slithered in before the gate shut. (I made up for getting in free by dropping 10 bucks in the one armed bandit.)
There is a nice buffet there. They have a multi-screen movie theater. There are other restaurants in the casino. There's a nice beach area and a boat launch area. There is a KOA RV campground also next to the golf course. I think if you stay there the casino pool is included.
It's a fun place. The dry camping lot is kinda dusty but it is large. The casino is nice and the rooms are relatively cheap if you need a place to rest on your travels with a nice shower.
I shall return!
