Spent one night while in route to Denver. Good toilet/shower facilities. There was one pull out site on the third loop available that made parking with our travel trailer over night quick and easy. Electrical service was available but not needed in our case. Would definitely return.

Absolutely beautiful park! Friendly park ranger let me know when I arrived that the camp was full but said I could stay in one of the multiple parking lots for $10 and use the dump station.

Campground has four loops, all are generally level sites. Lake is not meant for swimming; solid non-power boats only; no inflatables, no SUPs. Probably the best bathhouse I’ve ever seen; clean large, individual rooms; each w/ tall & short shower heads, sink w/ mirror, toilet, and a bench seat. Should be five stars, but lake quality dropped it by one star. Would definitely stay here again!

I've only camped here once but it was for 10 days so I got a good feel of the place. It is well taken care of and the staff is responsive to issues. It gets a little loud on the weekends. On the two weekends I was here I noticed a lot of large groups that played music and had barking dogs and had no problems shouting to each other at 11pm. :-(
But overall I had a great experience at this park. There are 4 campgrounds. Campground 3 is the most modern and is near the showers and flush toilets. The other campgrounds all have pit toilets. There is at least one water spigot at each campground. The water is cold and tastes fine.
I spent most of my stay in campground 1. I found this to be the quietest due to the layout (it's not great for large groups). It's also the most windy. (Campground 2 is much more protected from the wind). I also got the best cell signals in campground 1. I had decent speeds from Verizon, ATT and T-mobile. Verizon was the fastest. The park has wifi but I could only pick it up here occasionally. Campground 1 is the only one with pull through sites.
The shower house is about a .8 mile walk along the main road from campground 1 or 2. The shower house is very nice, there are 6 private rooms each with a sink, shower, and toilet. They were always clean when I went in there. There are a lot of hiking trails that connect the campgrounds and picnic areas. Some of these are very steep and are a good workout.
I think the best spots in the park are 7-10. They are in campground 1, but not on the main loop. They are on a spur off the main loop, and the sites are larger and more private. Great views too, of the rolling hills. But it can get windy here. I can hear some faint road noise from the interstate from campground 1. I did not hear this at the other campgrounds.
The lake is well manicured and I saw a lot of people fishing. You can rent canoes from the park office.
During my stay at the park I saw deer, a raccoon, some kind of beaver or muskrat thing, turtles, rabbits, squirrels, and a tom cat.

Arrowhead is a well maintained campground just off I80. After a long day driving, we were pleased to pull in and sleep well for the evening.

Pulled in for one night over Labor Day weekend. The camp host Chris was great. He personally drove us back to our site in campground 4, up on the hill. Great site, very spacious, quiet, shaded, good bathrooms close by. Definitely will return.
AT&T wifi had 2 bars. Full bars with the Weboost.

We were able to get a spot on the Wednesday after July 4th with no problem. The showers were very nice. But, we had no cell service with Verizon.
