About a 40 minutes detour from Highway 1, this free camping was the perfect spot to spend the night. Quiet, shady, beautiful trees and nicely taken care of.

This is a great spot to stay on the Eastern border of Banff park. They even have a dump station on site. The views are great, the staff is chill, and the amenities inside the casino are great.

No tenting this year due to the public wash house being closed and no camping in town at all, only in the field to the west of town with the ball diamond.. You have to be a self contained unit. Rate is by donation, but it seems like lots of people are choosing to donate at all and it won't be long until there's no access . Make sure dogs are...
