Overall Rating
We pull a 30’ trailer and wanted to be sure we had a spot before we head out.
Arrived to find the campground nearly empty. Although most of the sites are first come first served a few are reservable.
As normal,it was windy in the afternoons and cool overnight.
We did not have a campfire although it was permitted.
Water was nearby, and pit toilets and garbage dumpsters were available.
Fishing from shore was almost too easy.
Planted rainbows in the 10” range.
New this year ( 2024) was a day use fee of $5. Ranger confirming the fee was included in the campsite fee.
The road in was being worked on. Pit hole filling and widening. Much needed.
Still a favorite.
