I love it here! It’s so pretty and we felt safe. Sites have porta potties, fire ring and picnic tables. There’s a lot of spots all around the lake. We had no one near us. Some of the other reviews said they felt unsafe which is strange to me cause we feel super safe here! Enjoy!

I tried camping overnight. Got woken up at 1AM by a loud truck coming down the gravel road to the camp site next to mine. They came up to people who were already settled, started immediately yelling and arguing loudly. Couldn't tell exactly what it was over, but it sounded like they were robbing the people there. Lots of screaming, cursing, slamming truck doors, I listened for a little while but they did not let up. I don't know if they were locals, if they knew the people there, or what was actually going on. But there were some seriously ominous vibes.
Out of fear for my safety I discretely packed up my gear. Trying to be as quiet as humanly possible, heart pounding with adrenaline, trying to duck behind my car for sight cover from the full moon. I quickly shoved my gear into my car and high-tailed it out of there. Be careful you who decide to camp here. It may be fine some nights, but do you want to take that risk? To be the person who has to deal with thugs? My advice: steer clear of this camp site.

Stayed 11-28-2016 four nights... directly on water. We have a 22 ft travel trailer easy to park in the location we picked. Very quiet except the traffic coming in and out on one side of the lake to use the porta john as a drug drop and pick up...don't ask how we knew...ugh. The locals never bothered us at all. Lots of water birds and enjoyed watching them from our camp spot. Kayaking would have been nice but it was too cold for us. Some spots had concrete pads from old outbuildings that had been there long ago. One guy had a 30ft+ TT on it. Other than that camper we were alone at the park.
