The drive up was nice. It's fairly easy to get to. Once you get off the main highway, you start climbing, and there are quite a few switchbacks, some of which are rather tight. While the views are nice, It baffles my mind why anyone would park their car right smack at the base of a steep switchback. I saw several vehicles parked in dangerous locations. It's not safe, people! Think! I just hope nobody loses their brakes coming down one of those and slams right into them, but I digress...
About the campground; well.... It DOES have a lot of shade, which is a plus. But that's about the only plus. The campsites are a bit on the small side, and the parking areas for the vehicles are a bit short on many of the sites, and way too close to the road. They're really tight, so if you're planning on taking your large trailer or motor home, you might want to think twice about going here because trust me, you will have a problem navigating a large vehicle into these tiny spaces. The campground has water spigots next to the outhouses, however, all of the spigots were covered up and disabled. No idea why. This means you will need to bring your own water. Restrooms are the typical outhouses, no flushing toilets. TP rolls are hung too far away from the can! Plus, they won't unroll, you have to manually unwrap them, which was kind of annoying, but OK, whatever....
If you enjoy the slippery slope, you'll love the uneven terrain! If it wasn't so amusing, it'd be kind of annoying having to keep climbing to the center of your mattress all thru the night because you keep rolling off your mattress due to the sloped ground! But the tent areas weren't the only thing tilted. The fire pit and the grill were also crooked, as were the ones in other campsites. The restrooms (outhouses) have signs saying they're handicapped accessible, but there's no way you'd get a wheelchair up those uneven, rocky paths.
The biggest problem, however, was the noise level. These campsites are very close to each other. You hear everything, not just your neighbors right next to each other, but you'll also hear them a few sites away. This really becomes a problem if there's a big family camping nearby with rowdy kids or screaming toddlers. Typical camping conversations around the campfire I can handle, but screaming, whooping and hollering is something I can do without. Our neighbors were not the most considerate people.
So there you have it. It's not a terrible camp ground. It's so-so. There are better places to camp. I don't recommend this place.

We arrived at sunset to find someone had taken over our reserved site. The camp manager was no help at all and basically told my husband and I that we had to get rid of the guy ourselves. The manager then swung by the site 30 minutes later and implied it was our fault for arriving "late". Why did I pay 8 dollars to reserve this disaster of a site?
On our second night the campground was taken over by drunken campers who argued loudly until well past 2am (the time I finally fell asleep). There's also a lot of noise from ATVs, motorcycles and traffic going further up into 2 other campgrounds in the area. This campground is very close to Provo and the area is well known as a "make out spot" so it's never going to be quiet- something we only realized after speaking to other campers about our experience. We awoke on Sunday morning to the sound of shooting higher up in the canyon. Apparently locals enjoy using the trees as target practice.
Beautiful campground but not for tent camping. Maybe RVs would have an easier time keeping noise out.
No running water or cell service at all in this canyon. Bridal Veil Falls is about 5 minutes away- the area is stunning.
