As the title of my review says, this is a very nice, basic, RV park with few frills. We liked it a lot. We stayed in site 57 for four nights at the end of April 2024. As the title of my review says, this is a very nice, basic, RV park with few frills. We liked it a lot. We stayed in site 57 for four nights at the end of April 2024. Sit 57 was the smallest i9n the park, by the description given at the front desk. It turned out to be plenty long for our 22' trailer plus tow vehicle. It could have accommodated a longer rig but would have been cramped if we'd had neighbors on our awning (passenger) side. The site was not level but we've seen much worse. The hookups were like new and the sewer hookup was nicely down gradient from the pad. Sites and roadways are graveled. The park is neat, clean, tidy, and well maintained. The laundry room is small with two washers and two dryers, and spotlessly clean. Likewise the showers and restrooms were spotless. We didn't use the camp WiFi, but noticed WiFi many repeaters. The owners/managers are wonderful. Among other things, they make the rounds and pick up your garbage from your site every morning! There is a short walking trail from the park that connects to the Yadkin river trail. The unpaved river trail is a nice place to walk. Access to the Interstate is easy, but just far enough so that the highway noise is barely noticeable. There is a rail line near enough to hear a train whistle now and then, but it was not loud enough to be an interruption. We absolutely would stay here again if our travels take us that way.

We're on the tail end of our time staying here and can't say enough nice things about this campground! right from the start Amelia, the office manager, made our stay wonderful! We're on the tail end of our time staying here and can't say enough nice things about this campground! right from the start Amelia, the office manager, made our stay wonderful! We had some issues that needed repair so I called ahead to ask if I could have the parts shipped here. She was so accommodating and helpful!
Upon arrival, Amelia checked us in and provided us with a wonderful list of things to do in the area, hiking trails, restaurants, events, etc. We ended up taking her suggestion our first Friday night to go to a food truck Friday in nearby Elkin and it was a blast!
In terms of the campground and sites, it's a more basic campground. The sites are gravel, but pretty level and there is little tree cover (worked out well for my Starlink!). I believe all sites are full hookup and the water pressure and hookups were clean and easy. The campground includes wi-fi with your stay and it was fair enough for general use. I didn't use it much, but when I did it was fine.
There's a small walking trail connected right to the campground which we enjoyed walking and riding bikes on with our kids. A Food Lion is practically across the street along with urgent care, a pharmacy, and some fast food and gas stations not far.
It packs up on the weekends for sure and some of the weekenders are a bit less considerate than others, but even they seemed to respect the quiet hours and be just fine overall.
The bath house is super clean and each room is separate from one another and uses a keypad lock. Each room has a toilet, sink, and stand up shower. There is plenty of room and the water pressure was solid along with the hot water.
We ended up needing to adjust out stay to be longer than originally planned and once again Amelia was super helpful! There were some very nice and pleasant people here staying for longer stays and we enjoyed meeting them!
I will definitely have this campground on my list to return to if coming through the area!
