Very private in the trees park, close to Victoria, BC. Beautiful old trees surrounding sites that may not be ideal for solar panels…

This park has large separated RV sites. We had a very dark one and many had a small amount of sunlight but in general they were in deep tall trees. Facilities were exceptionally clean. Facilities were exceptionally clean.
Hikes in the park were many of various lengths and difficulty. Falls were pretty.
Close to Victoria. Don’t miss Buchart gardens. We did go to the Royal BC museum but the entire third floor was closed so I don’t recommend it.
We walked around Victoria which is lovely and saw 60 plus yachts in the harbor getting ready for an international race.
One dump station $5 Canadian plus fresh water. A few spigots around the campground.
No way to use our Starlink

On a whim we pulled into this park thinking it would be full. We were definitely surprised to see it was maybe 1/2 occupancy for mid September. Absolutely beautiful campground. Tents, big size rigs, camper vans, all sizes it will accommodate. Sites are wide, packed flat rock, picnic tables and fire rings. We in a Class A 36 foot, we did disconnect our tow vehicle since all site are backin only! Each site is about 30 yards apart, lots woods in between, privacy, trees are so hugh! We had great cell service Att 3 bars LTE.... 25 minutes into Victoria!
FYI gps will take you to the Goldstream Provincial Park day use area....very difficult to turn around in a Class A!!! The campground is actually about 2 miles past the day use -you will drive they small area of Langford thinking your lost - but you will be surprised! Nice paved road into park!

No hook ups, free hot showers, flush toilets as well as outhouse, water taps, sani-dump, gate house with ice and supplies, lots of hiking in a westcoast rain forest and swimming in the river.
Cel service is strong throughout most of the park.
