We originally visited and reviewed this area. We got stuck because it had flooded. We went back months later and had a great time. It was dry and there was a launch ramp and the site was very nice.

We’ve been camping for a month from Florida to California and back using Campendium. Every single spot we found was AWESOME! We got 35 minutes from home and thought we’d check out a few local spots. The Eglin AFB reservation has some great areas to camp.
We pulled down the road for a bit and then ran into a little water. Feeling pretty confident with our off road truck and rig, from our travels, we drove on through and then there was a sudden drop. We could do more water down the road. It took us an hour to get out.
Camping on the east side of the states has a completely different set of problems! We will probably check this site out again when it dries up.
