You do get a bit of traffic noise, specially from I-70, so it’s best to be in the south side of the park. You’re very close to Mesa Mall and Community Hospital. The sunrises and sunsets are great. Easy access to I-70 and nearby gas stations too. The bath houses are super clean. Laundry was priced a bit high, but the machines worked well and fully dried our clothes. WiFi worked great. Cell service also very good. They offer multi and weekly rate specials. The bottom line? You get what you pay for.

Last time was in August 2023 we came back early June 2024 and the prices had more than doubled beyond that we were even presented with a three day minimum stay even though it was only Wednesdaybecause they had apparently an upcoming event the following weekend. As much as we have liked it in the past, we don’t believe the value and friendliness we used to experience is there anymore.

Beautiful facility, spots are spacious and well maintained. Would be an easy 5 star if it weren’t for nickel & dime guests for things that are usually courtesy, for example all activities in clubhouse such as pool or foosball are coin operated. Want coffee in the clubhouse? That’s $2. Oh, do you want a late check-in or a late check out? Something that is ALWAYS done as a courtesy, they’d charge you $25 for each. Too cheap guys. We’ve stayed in places that offer free freshly baked cookies everyday, or courtesy coffee these were great. Most places offer nothing, that’s cool too. Charging for a pool game just makes you feel management is a little cheap.

If you are looking for a resort type stay then this place is great. Sites are long and spacious, utilities are basically new, the park is very well maintained, has a pool/hot tub, kids water playground, volleyball and pickle ball courts.....you know, the stuff we pay for and never use!
Did not like that a guest has to park up front and walk in or have you come and get them, there is plenty of room at the site for a visitors vehicle. And as I read it, they won't accept packages or allow delivery vehicles into the park. Makes it hard for full timers. Also the park is just off I70 and sites to the north will hear trucks.
May or may not stay again in the future...can't knock the park, it's just the price and lack of delivery options.

We were told we couldn't check in until 2pm or later unless we paid a $25 early check in. We checked in around 2:30 and were greeted by very helpful and friendly staff who escorted us to our site. The sites were very nice and well kept and had a picnic table and a little spot of grass. Overall this is a gorgeous park with beautiful views of the canyon, but expensive. We were able to use the pool and hot tub but they close at 9pm and don't open until 10am, which made it so we couldn't use the morning we left because check out is at 11. Also I did not like that the laundry room is tied to the main office building, making it so that you can only do laundry during office hours. The office opened at 9am the next day, but that doesn't give you much time to do a load before checkout.

A new campground with plenty of room. Young trees that will provide plenty of shade in a few years. The staff were friendly and got us in place quickly.

Our 2019 F350’s GPS couldn’t locate the park. The little blue sign pointing down a dead end street concerned me, but there it was. Ours was a perimeter back-in quite a ways from the office. Outstanding view of a field with prairie dogs close & colorful hills in the distance. Large, level site. Provided internet was sufficient for emails. An upgrade option is apparently available. Pretty pricy, but a very nice facility.

We have stayed numerous times since this park has opened. It is definitely our go to place in GJ. Sites are spacious, well groomed and clean. Landscaping is very nice and the tress are are really starting to grow. Two dog parks mostly grass, some small gravel that is my pups preference but they are used to that being from Arizona. Pickle ball, volleyball, soccer, splash pad, pool, corn hole, well stocked store, clean laundry, bathrooms and showers. Some of the sites have dog pens that are great for keeping the pups in while you are at your site or having dinner. City Market and Golden Gate fuel are within 5 minutes of the park and close proximity to I-70 but not close enough for the noise to bother us. Staff is very friendly and obviously take pride in their park.
Either for an overnight, week stay or an extended stay highly recommend this resort.

“Have not gone yet...but not happy now”
noted 9/9/2021
We are looking forward to staying here and seeing the surrounding area....but I'm already a little bit annoyed because we called for a reservation - and they charge the full amount when you make the reservation. I haven't really had this happen in the past. I've had some campgrounds charge a one night deposit.
In addition, if you cancel within two weeks, they keep 50%, and if you cancel within 48 hours - no refund (of the entire amount you were just charged). I think both of these are unreasonable. I would not stay here given these rules, but we have to be in this area and the other campgrounds were booked.
I'll update this review with how the stay went....this part is just based on their reservation policy.
