I stayed in the back in sites with a view and I think they are the best sites unless you really need a pull thru. Either way, a nice view.

We stayed here a few days to see White Sands National Monument and Las Cruces. It's a great little city, and White Sands was one of the coolest things I've seen. It's worth a stop over. The KOA was clean and friendly as KOAs usually are. The staff was nice and they have loaner round sleds to go down the sand dunes on. That was a nice touch to not have to buy any. The views are good as the campground sits on a hill overlooking the city. The sunsets and sunrises are pretty. The major downside was how cramped it was. It was more cramped than other KOAs I've been in. You were literally on top of one another. There was also no real place to walk the dogs. Behind the park is mobile homes, not really a scenic walk. And a major road in front so you're basically stuck walking around the tiny park and letting the dogs stretch their legs in the also tiny K9 dog play area.
I would stop here again for a few days if I needed a place to stay in Las Cruces because of the amenities and good location.
Site accessibility (Easy in/out, good sineage) - 4

Dog friendly (Very small dog park, hardly anywhere to walk) - 2
Activities (Everything Las Cruces has to offer was very close but nothing walkable) - 3
Cost ($43/night for 50 amp FHU) - 2
Staff friendliness (Friendly) - 4
Connectivity (Great signal w/out a booster for both ATT and Verizon. Cable with good signal was included) - 5

Large RV campgrounds, although this is on the smaller side, are not our "thing" generally. That being said, this is where we landed when escaping from the tight spot at Percha Dam State Park.
Sites are level, gravel is big dog friendly, no sewer smell from the hook-up at all (threads on the hook-up were tight and no odor escaped!) but ... Spaces are tight, neighboring rigs are right on top of you, roadway isn't paved and for the cost of a space per night the roadway should be paved, the dog off-lead area doesn't have a single tree to provide shade from the New Mexico sun although there are other trees scattered throughout the park.
Wifi was reasonably fast although our AT&T signal strength was FAR, FAR faster. Cell reception at the park was not an issue for either AT&T or Verizon.

We stayed here for a couple days while driving to Colorado from Tucson. We stayed in a back-in site which is described as "Awesome views from your site of Organ Mountains, city of Las Cruces, and Mesilla Valley. Daily photo opportunities at sunrise and sunset." Everything they claim is accurate, I woke up extra early both mornings to watch the sunrise and the sunset was epic too.
The facilities are very well kept, the bathrooms were clean. We didn't use the showers but they looked sufficiently clean as well. Like most KOAs there are some gifts and RV supplies inside. There wasn't a change machine in the laundry room, so get change from the host if you'll be doing laundry off hours.
Wifi was fast when nobody was on it, mostly unusable when being used heavily. We had no issues with AT&T and Verizon signals without boosters.
The big box stores are on the other side of town, about 10-12 minute drive. Nothing within walking distance as it's on the outskirts of town. Check out the old town area, very cool!

No power when we arrived and no emergency contact number. We left to stay somewhere that was safe and that could provide the services they advertised. Campground owner Leah refused to offer even a partial refund to us even though we didn't stay and due to the blackout. Avoid this Campground at all costs. The owner doesn't care whether her guests can sleep safely or use the services she can't provide. It's all about fleecing travelers sadly.
