Some highway noise and cars coming and going. Felt pretty safe here. The rest area is on an incline so hard to find a level spot. Overall pretty good.

We arrived in time for dinner. The Cracker Barrel fried chicken and vegetable soup were very good. The service was friendly. The parking lot was well lit and we felt safe for our overnight stay. Thank you Cracker Barrel.

Friendly staff in the store. We asked to stay the night and they obliged. We bought some gas and groceries as a payback. Quiet, but for an early morning train and some coyotes in the distance. There was a semi truck parked there for the night...

"Good Boondock Spot"
By sundown everyone settled into a spot and it was a quiet night. Lots of ruts off the main road made things a little difficult getting into position. All in all a good boondock spot. There was a tree down across the road about a mile in.
