"You have arrived." We were looking at grassy fields on both sides of the road. This was after driving 20 miles through country roads. When we finally found the park we paid the weekend rate of $24 to park in a semi-muddy site with mosquitos, no view, and no hook-ups whatsoever. Felt a little ripped off. Seemed to be a locals hangout since there isn't much else to do in the area.

Overall Rating
We stayed at this campground on LDW 2018. It was extremely convenient for us because its about 5 minutes from family, which was the best part for us. The campground was alive with families enjoying the holiday weekend. We enjoyed kayak, canoe and paddle board rentals on the lake for a great price. Our spot was tight for a 35ft fifth wheel, but we booked just a few weeks before the holiday weekend, so spots were limited and there are certainly many spacious, and some pull through spots at this campground. Many tent sites as well.
We stayed with no hookups, and while the booking system said our spot was full shade, we did get enough sun to keep our batteries full, even with cloudy mornings.
We'll be coming back!
