The Canyon really only has 3 camp site. None are marked but it is pretty obvious where they are. No facilities of any sort. We just needed a place for the night so it worked. Canyon is quiet and no cell service. We were in a 4x4 sprinter , only the site at the end of the road would be suitable for a small trailer.

Nice little BLM section not far (~ 15 min) off I-80 near Winnemucca, NV. There are about 3 really nice pull outs near the stream, and the back of the canyon was really pretty. There was just one other camper there the night we stayed. Not wonderful for tents, but the road is good and a modest RV or with a smallish trailer would be comfortable.

The only cell phone service was right near the entrance & even that was dodgy. Some broken glass and trash - we carry extra trash bags and pickup as we travel (it really makes a difference!). All fine until morning when we awoke to an INVASION of MORMON CRICKETS!!!

Thousands and thousands of large jumping and even swimming CRICKETS! Eeeewwwww
