This campground is considered remote but that adds to the charm. It is centrally located for going to different areas of the Bighorn mountains. The campground itself is full of great views with just a short hike and wildlife is abundant in the area, keep cameras handy. The sound of the creek is relaxing as it flows directly behind all but two campsites. You can fish but I only encountered small brook trout. Overall a good stay just a little warmer than we expected.
Mike and Lori would stay here again

Great Campground located in the Bighorn Mountains next to Shell Creek. The sites are relatively flat and level, and deep enough for our 32' fifth and truck. There are only 15 sites, so if you want to get in on a weekend you will need to reserve early.
The good.
1. Level sites.
2. Quiet. Most of the time you only hear the creek.
3. Off the beaten path.
4. Small. (not hundreds of campers plied on top of each other!)
5. Vault toilets are clean and nice.
The bad.
1. A mile and a half of gravel to get there.
2. No cell service.
3. The dump station is several miles away.
4. No electrical hookups.
5. No showers and only vault toilets.
Brady would stay here again
