Riverwalk on the Yadkin RV Park

Our family loves Riverwalk. We have stayed in four different sites, but 35 is our favorite. The RV park is just the right size. There is enough going on to keep our kids entertained, but it is small enough I feel good with them riding their bikes up and down our road or going to the game area together (without parents). The owners are always very nice and seem to remember us with each new visit. The events they have are fun and entertaining, without getting out of hand. We all love the pond in the summer time and the fall events as well. Our family consists of two adults, a teen, and a young child. This is somewhere we are all happy to go. I also wanted to mention that their bathhouses and grounds are immaculate. The owners and employees take pride in their jobs, and it shows.

We are from Thomasville NC which is only about a hour from Riverwalk. We met some friends and camped for 4 days through Thanksgiving and had the best time. It was such a clean and quiet campground and we didn't have to worry about our grandchildren being ran over by someone speeding through the campground. My grandson absolutely had the best time with the competition games they have. Him and his dad entered the Cornhole tournament which they took 4th place in. He is a very competitive 9 year old and he was really into the competition. All of the music and different food trucks was great as well. Loved the hammocks in all of the trees and you couldn't beat the seating area around the big fire pit. Such a great area to sit while the kids play. We can't wait to return through the summer so we can take advantage of the swimming hole. Since we are so close to the campground this will be our weekend get away spot for sure. Thank you Riverwalk for having such a great family friendly place.

We have stayed at Riverwalk several times. It’s our favorite place to stay. The people are friendly and really helpful. The campground and facilities are immaculate. It’s pet friendly with access to a great dog park. There are all the activities you could want; swimming, hiking, electric bikes, and winery tours. I would highly recommend Riverwalk.

Location isn't everything but RiverWalk has that and wonderful owners and staff. All were very acoomodating and gave us great tips on what to do around the area. We love to Kayak and the river is great place to boat or float. The local companies that transport you up river are very good and know the river.
On the weekends RiverWalk has great food trucks, entertainment and a bar in the pavilion. There are great wineries in the area and tour companies pick you up and drop you off at the campground.
There are great sites to see and plenty of hiking close by. But if you don't feel like being a tourist there is plenty to do at the campground.

My wife and I highly recommend staying there, we will be back in the near future.

This was the 1st place we camped and the only place we keep coming back to again and again. It's so conveniently located and practically every spot is simple and easy to get in/out. The staff is always helpful and the grounds are well take care of.

Our favorite thing about Riverwalk is how the owners have worked so hard to make it a fun, social, entertaining experience. Whether it's food trucks, live music, or a craft brewery pouring onsite, it's so much fun.

Just checking into this campground was the best experience of any campground ever. The owners and staff greet you at the entrance, talk to you tell you all about the campground, answer any questions you have, ask about you etc. not what I was expecting but very heart warming.

Setting up was awesome, Dan the Man, cam to our rescue and helped out without even being asked. I cannot speak to the experience.

The camp store was extremely CLEAN. Kim does an excellent job at keep this place in top top shape.

Literally not even stayed here a night and we are already talking about coming back.

Campground is in top top shape. Owners and staff are excellent.

Oh and did I tell you that Kim has the cleanest camp store I’ve ever seen.

If you have not been here, it’s time to book a trip. You will not be disappointed.

This was our first stay at Riverwalk. We only stayed for 2 nights as we travelled across the southeast to Gettysburg. We would love to come spend a week here. This campground has something for everyone. They’ve created an awesome culture of community here. We loved the hiking trail, dog park, the rainbow bridge feature was so special and thoughtful. There is so much to experience in the surrounding area. This is a great vacation spot! Oh! The hammock behind our site was such a nice touch! Staff were super helpful and they were EVERYWHERE, which is so nice! We were in site 4 and it was great! No leveling required. It’s backed up to the woods, so we had some nice privacy.

RiverWalk is the kind of place that draws the sweetest people! I attended for their Spring Pop-Up Market and had such a nice time. The grounds are clean, the bathhouses pristine, and the staff super friendly. They do something that ALL bathhouses should do, which is playing music in the restrooms. It is hard for some people to use public restrooms. Music drowns out the sounds of nature and odd and all too personal phone conversations people have while doing their business. (Go figure emoji would be inserted, here) Thank you for not only a fun camping experience but having the PopUp Market which allowed people to see Glampy Girl Designs, in person.
