We enjoyed the landscape and quietness here. Across red creek, have some fun climbing up the small hill.

Free BLM. Dirt road going up the hill leads to several sites, some more level than others. I would not take anything larger than ours up there. In the years we have been doing this it was the first nice problem we had, probably just bad luck. Verizon Cell service was non existent some days, only limited phone the other days.

We drive up approximately 11 miles up to out camp site on the gravel road with our trailer. Road was slow going, but once we got there it was so beautiful. Saw maybe 5 cars in 2 days, including a ranger.

Red Creek Road is one-lane gravel, and in the first couple of miles north of Highway 50, we found 5 established campsites. The sites themselves are along Red Creek, nice but kind of buggy for Colorado. They're not well suited to larger RVs, but then neither is the road. Surface condition was fine in dry weather but will get muddy in the wet.
