The gravel road is a long haul in but smooth and well kept.
With the local drought and the water levels so far down it’s hard to launch kayaks and just bank fish.
Camp host was friendly, local Rangers friendly and active in keeping the camp sits in clean.
If you camp close to the water bank expect Mosquitos really bad, upwards by the entrance didn’t see one.

Don't let the long gravel road deter you! We have a a 40' fifth wheel and had no problem traveling the few miles down the excellent dirt/gravel road. (May be a little squirrelly if it is real wet.) Lots of deer along the road. Gorgeous! The campground had a few spots that would work for a rig our size but most of them a little smaller. The view was phenomenal. We stayed on the upper level with a beautiful view. There is a lower lake level as well that was very nice. Camp hosts were very kind.
Rich Travels would stay here again
