Overall Rating

There are 3 campgrounds in the Fort Robinson Park. Red Cloud has full hookups and cost $35. Half are reserveable and half are walk in (as they call them). Soldier Creek is a mixture of basic (no services) at $15, 30 amp at $25, 30/50 amp at $30. Mare Barn has 30/50 and some full hookups. Soldier is older and fully treed. Red Cloud is newer with some trees and some very open. A little confusing when you come in. The office where you register is on the north side of the highway on the opposite side from the 2 bigger campgrounds. Very friendly people. As noted in a review for Soldier Campground there is an additional $12 per day fee for out of staters - or buy the $60 annual pass. The park itself is an amazing collection of restored and well maintained buildings from its days of a military base from the 1800s into the 1900s.
