“Feels like you're way out in the woods”

We loved this place. It's a great stop between Niagara and Toronto. It's very easy to get to, right off the main road, in a relatively populated/developed area, but it feels like you're out in the middle of nowhere. No road noise at all. The sites are a mix of tent/primitive and different power options. Our site shared a power pole with the site next to us and it had a 30 amp, a 50 amp and multiple 20 amp outlets. So make sure you bring a "dog-bone" adapter if you need 30, and make sure you tell them what you need when making your reservations.
The sites are interesting. The vegetation is very "overgrown" between sites, giving you some privacy, but the actual sites are mowed nice and short. It looks like there is a fire pit and picnic table on each site. We stayed in the "Prairie loop" and we could barely see our neighbors through the tall grass and trees, even though they were about 30 yards away. Some sites appeared to be much closer to their neighbors though. The person that took our reservation was very helpful, helping us pick out a spot that was good for us and our rig.
There are some great walking/hiking trails right in the park and a good portion of those trails are off-leash dog friendly. Our pooch was in heaven. It get's crowded on the weekends with a lot of dogs though so make sure your dog is very well socialized and under control.
Everything was very clean and well maintained and the staff at the gate/store was very friendly and helpful.

Decent park with sizeable campsites. We camped during COVID so there were no activities operating including the swimming pool. I think the experience would be better if we had gotten to experience some activities but we were aware of the lack thereof when we reserved.
305 is a good site. Easy access and large enough for our truck and 12 ft. pop-up. Full sun though - if booking here again I would book a site on the “other side of the road” so we could have some shade.
We’re Canadian and cell service is with Rogers. Great signal strength all over the campsite.
threelees would stay here again
