Overall Rating

Very nice provincial park. Spotlessly clean. No services at sites. Large, well spread out sites. Playground and two small lakes for sup’s etc. The big lake is good for power boats.

Overall Rating

Needing a place to stay between Montana and Banff, there wasn't a lot to choose from. A lot of the Provincal parks don't have any hookups so getting 50amps was a bonus. There's no water at the sites but there are multiple convenient spigots to refill. Bring your water bandit as they are not threaded. There is a dump at the entrance to the park.

There are multiple campgrounds here and the non hookup ones have much more shade and privacy.

Good roads, clean individual bathrooms and showers and a beautiful lake along with hiking trails made it worth the lack of space.

T mobile was good (4G 10+ d/l) and ATT was solid 3G 3+ d/l. No OTA channels. Shopping is in Fernie which is a very cute town.
