“Great week with four other camping families”

Stayed in the West Loop, large spaces, but not much green grass or paved parking pads like the East Loop. However stayed with a larger group and all had hookups with easy access to the water. Clean lake, lots of small trout for kids and adults..

“A busy campground on a popular lake, nice place but don’t expect solitude.”

Lake Pearrygin campground has 92 standard sites (no hook-ups) and 71 sites with hook-ups. While site size varies, there are many that can accommodate even the largest rig. There are both back-in and pull-through spaces and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There are large mature trees for shade throughout the campground, site... more

“Fairly typical WA state park campground”

We camped here over a long weekend that we spent exploring the Methow Valley and North Cascades. We were in a full hook-up site about 150 feet from the lake. We booked online in advance which was good because the campground was completely booked for the weekend. Arrival and hook-up was easy. We were in the West campground. Generall... more

“OK for a day or two, especially in the shoulder season.”

I have to say that I agree with what Nathan, the last person to write a review of this park, had to say. Camping at a Washington State Park is a lot like camping in a nice suburban neighborhood. There is rarely if ever anything rustic or "back to nature" about the experience and the prices have gotten out of hand. If we didn't qualify ... more

I have achieved a bit of disdain toward Washington's State Parks. Everyone knows the West is the best, but thusly in our experience of these parks I can say that every state park we've ever visited—from Florida to Maine—has been infinitely better than what the Evergreen State has to offer. Why? They're expensive, and awfull... more

I have mixed feelings about Pearrygin Lake State Park. If it wasn't for all the other people camping there it would probably be nice. We stayed in the West Campground which is a lot more run down looking than the East. The power tripped our Air Conditioning, so if you're planning on leaving your dog in your rig, be sure to lea... more
