Came in after boondocking for a few days needed a shower, dump station, and utilities.
Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. Lots of short trails in the park to check out

This park was ok. The sites were very tight but the park is close to town. Grocery store is very close. Site 31 was the most secluded. It is a pull through. Greenville has a nice downtown and is worth a visit. There is a beautiful waterfall in downtown that should not be missed.

Beautiful park. We probably lucked out because we were here just barely after fall colors peak and the weather was lovely. The roads inside of the park are narrow and winding as reported but doable. While park is large, it was not too packed on a beautiful weekend. The campsites are “intimate.” Most are very close to each other. They are most definitely NOT big rig friendly. Tight, narrow, unleveled, and those with big rigs who parked there are heroes in our book. Most campers had small RVs, camper vans, and trailers like us. Despite the intimacy, we had no noise issues. Very outdoorsy vibe. We had site 31 which is one of the best, if not the best. Tons of great hiking trails and downtown Greenville is a short (highly recommended) drive away.

- Our site was level
- Clean bathhouse
- Trash collection is far away from campground...pretty inconvenient
- Design of the dump station is sub-par. The angles are all wrong which makes for a challenging dump.
The park itself is beautiful. Loved the location and the hiking trails. We would definitely camp here again!

Park was quiet and beautiful while still being close to town. Nice hiking and biking trails right from the campground. Tight winding access road to the campground in the back of the park, then an even narrower winding driveway with a few sharp turns through the camp sites. Paved road with paved sites that all seem to slope sharply up or down depending on the side. Site 37 was tricky for our 28’ rig and SD Ford thanks to a few unfortunate placed trees, but with care and patience, we got it in. Side to side leveling was only more difficult because of roots pushing up the asphalt, had to find the right spot. Then had to use the entire tongue jack with a bucket and a few blocks to get the nose high enough to level. All good once we we’re done though. Site 38 next to us looked horrible and way worse off with the roots breaking through the pad.

My dog ate them so thank goodness they weren't poisonous. They do stain.. Garbage is difficult as it had to be taken approx a mile away at the Nature Center parking lot. We were able to find necessary stores.
The park offers free wifi which was nice. Downfall was we couldn't use our own kayaks...I understand but still didn't like it

Lots of trails, a beautiful lake. Wonderful little spots to have a picnic or enjoy sitting on a swing and listen to the water babble on by.
It is spring so the leaves aren't out yet, but once the trees fill in the campsites are probably pretty private. And the campground was quiet. The tent pad had quite a few rocks, but it was level.
The bathrooms were clean, stocked and had good hot water!
The park rangers were friendly & helpful and made staying there easy.
We look forward to coming back!!

Nothing is level at this Campground. Some sites are extremely sloped and a trailer or motorhome would have tough times in them. We has site 31, which is one of the best, if not the best from a level point of view. We were able to very easily level our short Class C there. There are a handful of others that are fairly level as well. The campground is beautiful and quiet, and has fantastic trails for hiking and mountain biking. There is quite a bit of elevation gain in the park, so be prepared to get in a workout, especially if mountain biking. The restroom/bathhouses were well maintained and clean, though the shower I used did not drain well. Overall, a very nice campground.

Campground is a beautiful setting - lots of stone buildings/walls, etc.. The sites are a little close together (some) and a few aren't the most level. Due to the sheer number of campers, there was a little early morning noise - not too bad. Great trails starting out from the campground.

We love this camp and will come back again. However it is important to know which campsite will work for you. We have a 21 foot travel trailer and it is too big for some of the camper sites. Below is a list of all of the sites to help you select one that will be successful.
Site one is the host.
Site two is sloping left to right.
Site three is in the middle of the driveway.
Sites four and five are good.
Site seven is short.
Site nine is good but sloping, long enough to level out.
Site number 10 is steeply, sloping and very short.
Site number 18 is good.
Site numbers 19 and 20 are also good.
Site number 21 is questionable.
Site number 22 is short.
Site number 26 is short.
Site number 28 is not level
Site 29 is wavy and warped which is especially bad as this is the handicapped site.
Site number 30 is bad.Site number 31 is good.
Site number 32 is not level, sloping forward to the road but might be doable.
Site number 34, 35, 36, 37 and 38 are good. Never, never, rent site number 39 it is terrible. Site number 40 is good.
This is a wonderful park with great trails in a nice campground. Just be very careful which site you reserve.
