We stayed at Paris Mountain in early September 2023, just after Labor Day Weekend for 2 nights mid-week. We had site 7. Due to the time of year, the park was maybe half full and very quiet. The road in is winding and somewhat narrow, but nicely surfaced. Our rig is a 23 foot trailer and we had no problem accessing the park , but a really large rig would be a tight fit. The sites are surrounded by large trees, but not much undergrowth . Sites are close together so not a lot of privacy, unless, like us, you are here during a slow time. No other campers are near us! The pads are paved but many are not level at all. Ours(7) is one of the more level sites we saw. The restrooms/showers are very clean and nicely updated inside. The exterior looks a bit rough, but I was pleasantly surprised when I went inside! Greenville is quite close with all amenities. We have electric and water hookups. We have T-Mobile and are getting 1-2 bars 5G. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Getting up to site is a challenge, take it slow and easy, there are narrow roads. Even getting into some sites can be a bit of a challenge. Once there and settled it was a great stay. Hiking, showers, small beach pretty popular for day visits. Water and electric dump station on site. Stayed for a week.

There is a long thin road winding around the mountain. Very scary driving up since it’s not really big enough for cars going different directions. Getting into our spot was pretty difficult. The campground itself is nice, but definitely set up for smaller rigs or tents. We have a 45 ft bus and we wouldn’t try this one again.

Friendly staff at the gate, directed us to our site. 36, and it was relatively level. In February. Went hiking nearby, and had a number of trails to choose from. Would definitely stay again

Nice park. The road is narrow. I stayed in January and there were not any trash cans throughout the park like most places. The sites aren’t level.

We enjoyed our stay in the park, but getting our rig in and out of the park took a few years off my life. There’s about a mile trek from the entrance to the campground. It is *very* narrow and winding. If you meet another RV, then one of you will need to back up, no question. Even meeting a car, it’s a hold your breath situation. There are hairpin turns, too. Going to the campground you have the ravine to your right you could drop into, but coming out the hillside with jutting out trees and boulders are right there on your right. I’m only being slightly too dramatic when I say it was terrifying leaving this morning. We met at least a dozen cars. The sites themselves are decent. We lucked out with a level (for the most part) one, but some sites need a ton of leveling blocks. Other reviewers have listed the sites and their pros and cons. Definitely pay attention to which one you get. Some are very short, too. One other con that really needs addressed is the trash situation. There’s not a dumpster by the dump station. It’s located across the road from the Park Center, at the back of a large parking lot. No way we wanted to do that trek with the RV as we were leaving, so our trash is coming home with us. But even with all these cons, we’re still giving the park 4 stars. The hiking trails are numerous and beautiful. Cell reception is good, TV reception is good, they do offer WiFi, but it’s pretty weak. Luckily if you stay on data you’ll be ok. We had a fun day trip into Greenville, which is a surprisingly fun city. If I manage to forget our how harrowing the trek in and out of the park was, we’ll be back.

This park was ok. The sites were very tight but the park is close to town. Grocery store is very close. Site 31 was the most secluded. It is a pull through. Greenville has a nice downtown and is worth a visit. There is a beautiful waterfall in downtown that should not be missed.
