Paisley Dry Lake Bed

Spent one night on a stop over and had the place to ourselves. No real defined campsites but you can use any part of the lake bed when it’s dry. There was standing water in parts so we kept to the edge.
The only entrance trick is the home made cattle gate that requires some manipulation to open and close. Wear gloves to avoid barbed wire and splinters.

Nice flat dry alkaline "lake" bed. It might only be 100 yds across. Nice views of distant ridges and surrounded by a sea of sage brush. Fairly easy dirt road in with a couple of washouts on the edges (just keep moving if the trailer tires dips off so you don't tip). Theres a small maze of roads coming in, for the most part they all connect.

Good place to lay over or spend a couple of days hiking etc.

When we got to these coordinates we found the dry lake bed. This time of year it is not completely dry. (June) and the water is stagnant and covered in a blanket of mosquitoes. We picked a dirt road going away from it and found this spot. It’s perfect!

The lakebed is hard, level, and dry the only bugs are a few flys and sweat bees. Maybe a wasp or two but not bad.
No sign of previous campers (fire pits, trash, etc)! No rocks to create a fire pit seem present.

Verizon service is great. Data and everything!
T-mobile has 4 bars LTE but it’s not worth it. It’s slow as sludge.
