Campground is closed November through February and water to the sites is turned on mid May. They allow 14 days of use per calendar year. Dump station is a loop road. We had no problem in a 45 foot Class A with our 4 door jeep in tow. Two lanes available for dumping. Free for RV’s.

Traveled from Shenandoah NO and then onto twisting, curvy roads to Gatewood Campground Park and Reservoir. What a great find, with no “real” amenities but level sites, picnic tables, fire pit and waterfront. A hidden gem…wish we could stay longer but we will definitely be back. Host was super nice and accommodating

We’re hear about 10 years ago and it’s sad to see that bugs have taken out the large trees. Big sites friendly staff. Scenery is awesome
