Overall Rating

10 sites with fire pits and picnic tables. 2 pit toilets. Excellent access to Boulderfields climbing area.

The dirt road up is very rough, narrow, and steep. We towed our 19 ft travel trailer up but would not recommend unless you have a very capable tow vehicle and small trailer. We had to switch into 4x4.

Google maps does not direct you all the way in. Drive past the first recreation sign to a sign on the left that reads “Oakanogen Boulderfields”. Turn left and follow that road to another wood sign that reads “Oakanogan Boulderfields Recreation Site”. Follow that to the end where there is a large parking lot and sites. We found it helpful to use the satellite view on maps to find our way.
