Question about Mustang Island State Park Campground

Is it super windy in July at the RV sites? We have a pop-up camper and it can be hard to set up and take down in high winds. Some reviews have said awnings were ripped off from the high winds and others say it's fine. Just trying to get other opinions. Thanks in advance!

I have been there in January, February, March and June. All those months it was windy, as a matter of fact, I’ve stayed all along the Texas gulf coast and each place it is windy. Good luck with the pop up.

It can be although most of the time it is not. Be sure to check long range weather before going. If no tropical storms or hurricanes possible, you should be OK.
