Overall Rating

So there is dispersed camping all along Forest Road 70146. If you can find a spot, large RVs will fit. But I would say they are hard to snag unless you want to intrude on someone’s area.

But keep going and turn right on Murdock Creek Road. There is a lot of open space where I there is a little road that goes up to the left. This is where Campendium sends you.

But if you go up the little bit of a rough road to the left, there are 4 camping spots and an overgrown corral. All are separated by some trees. Everywhere close by seemed to be crowded already with people at 3pm on a Tuesday. But none of these 4 spots were taken. Each could accommodate a smallish trailer. I snagged the farthest spot #4 … it was the only shady spot. A bit uneven so I it took some doing to get my Jeep level to car camp.

Completely dispersed (no trash, water, bathrooms). I am fluctuating between 1-2 bars on Verizon … and am able to write this review while at the site.
