We have a 40 foot big rig and had three spots to choose from. It’s wide open scrub plain at the base of the mountains. Plenty of room to maneuver. 1.1 mile east of i25. Very quiet. Stayed five nights. 5 cars total passed by. Arrived about 3PM Sunday. And thursday AM left, there were only 5 cars that came throught.
3 bars on ATT and 5 on Verizon.
Easy in and out from I25.
Only two others camping the 5 days I stayed.

We arrived on a Tuesday afternoon.. we stayed in the second site off the interstate. Both sites are very large.. This spot is nice and remote, but still has good enough cell service. Used ATT hotspot and was able to video call and download reports as needed. It was a bit windy, so steak down anything you put outside. Road was flat and had spots with already established fire pits

Went over 1 mile, found a place to pull in. Room for a few more campers. Could see I25 far away. Needed a place to live, not bad.

We stayed pretty close to the highway for ease of getting out so there was a bit of road noise but there are sites that are further off the road and probably quieter. Windy when we arrived, but that settled down at sunset. No amenities so pack it in and pack it out. A bit of trash around so we cleaned it up. Not too much. Not really a destination place, but a nice stopover. Would definitely stop here again.

We could not hear the interstate, but only see the car lights from a distance. There were lots of stars out and just a moon sliver. Unfortunately, people have dumped large tires there and there was other trash such as broken bottles, etc. just outside of the dirt campsite. I won't say what I called those folks. We were able to stream Netflix and Amazon Prime from this site too!

No one else showed up. Great cell service on AT&T. Very quiet all night, just some slight road noise from the freeway but inside you could barely here it. I was in a 26 foot motorhome but the area can accommodate most any size in these two spaces. Easy in and easy out. I would stay again.
