We loved the view of the cliffs, the sound of the waves, beautiful sunsets and the fact being there the only ones for most of the time. The road in is gravel and flat. There are three options to park. First is the large parking lot with the boat launch that can easily accommodate 10 rigs or so. Second is adjacent smaller parking lot for 2 or 3 rigs and the third is peninsula where 3 rigs should fit. The part of the road leading to the peninsula is rutted, but totally doable with bigger rigs. We chose the peninsula, because of the close proximity to the water. This place can get really, I mean REALLY windy, so keep this in mind. One night the wind was so bad that the camper was rocking from side to side hard and we didn't feel comfortable being so close to water in a wind like this, so we moved to the large parking lot. We returned back to the peninsula in the morning. :)
AT&T 4G service is bad. You get 3 or 4 bars, but the speed is looooow.

Ended up here after nearly getting stuck at Osborne Bay. It's a parking lot but dead quiet and had it all to myself. Backed up to the stunning frozen lake and had literally, the Million Dollar view. The cliffside water falls across the road (very few cars) are amazing and created a background soundtrack for a pleasant stay. This spot is right down the road from the classic Steamboat Rock State Park at $45 a night if you don't want to boondock.
This spot = $0. Other people = 0
It's awful. Don't stay here :)
Used AT&T hotspot to post this.

We chose this spot as our jumping off point before proceeding to the cascades. It was a great location only about 15 min from the Grand Coulee Dam and Steamboat Rock State Park. We chose this spot as our jumping off point before proceeding to the cascades. It was a great location only about 15 min from the Grand Coulee Dam and Steamboat Rock State Park. It has a sizeable enough lot for me to practice backing in the 40ft trailer and get situated without worry. I don't think we were 100% level, but hey its free! We did have some people coming and going pretty late at night. We came in at about 10 one night after the laser show at the dam. Make sure to go on a tour of the dam. Its an impressive engineering marvel and the facts about it are pretty fun to learn about.
Only complaint about the spot is the hoards of mosquitoes. Bring bug spray and your zapper rackets!
